Happy Holidays to you and yours. I wasn't organized and just didn't have enough time to send out any Christmas cards, so here is a quick note for all of our loved ones.....
Just wanted to drop a quick note to say Late Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all.
This has been quite an interesting year for our family. I left my job at the hospital in Plains, and have been traveling to work at two different hospitals in Montana. It was the best thing in the world for me to do for myself professionally. I am very happy and learning new things everyday. Becoming a Respiratory Therapist was what I was meant to be doing! I miss my friends at the hospital in Plains though, I worked with some amazing and talented nurses and staff whom I learned a lot from and respect greatly. I wish them all the best of luck and hope to be able to stay in touch with them!
Anthony transfered from Mineral to Sanders county with his job. He is a lot busier being in Sanders county, but is making the transition well. He is enjoying his job and he too is learning new things on a daily basis. For those of you who don't know, he is an appraisor for the State, and he has excelled at this type of work. We were so lucky for him to land this job when we moved back to Montana, especially being as though when we decided to move home(Plains) he was able to just transfer from county to county. He seems to like his job most days, and gets lots of time off being as though he works for the state! LOL
Dylan, boy has this kid blossomed this year. He was co-captian of his football team, and loved every minute of it. Their team was awesome, only loosing one game all season. Hope that this is the beginning of good things to come when he hits High School next year. His entire class is very active and athletic - and he fits right in. He started lifting weights this year, and has really come into his own (just ask his dad and his Grandpa how tough he is now ). He has sprouted up like a weed - and thinks it is pretty cool that he can use his mom as an armrest! LOL Dylan also found a new love this year, DRAMA! I never thought this would be something he would do, but let me tell you, he was absolutely awesome at it. He was in the production of Grease, and he played Sonny, one of the Thunder Birds. He had a great time, and plans not to miss any productions that are put on here locally. Hopefully, he will try out for the Missoula Childrens Theatre when it comes around too. He blew everyones socks off with how good he was! Dylan is also very active in his Youth Group. He went on a "mission" this summer for a week to Messing, Idaho to start a soup kitchen and help get a Church up and running. He learned a lot on that trip, not to mention how lucky we all are for what we have, and not to take it for granted. Our little boy is growing up, and not so little anymore!
We spent most of our summer out on the boat tubing and hanging out. With Dylan becoming a teenager, it is kind of hard to pull him away from his friends to spend time with his old ma and pa, but he didn't hesitate much when we said we were hitting the water! LOL - has been a water baby his entire life and I am so glad that hasn't changed.
I have several friends who suffered a lot of personal tragedy and loss in their lives this year, and know that you are continually in our thoughts and prayers, and how we admire your strength and perserverance through these tough times.
Again, just want to wish you all Health and Properity in the coming years and know that you are always in our thoughts. I have enclosed a picture of the three of us in front of our Christmas tree.
Happy Holidays and we love you,
Anthony, Brandi and Dylan
